Unique situation: It is terrific that you are starting to get some sensation back! you are currently under the care of an oral surgeon and/or physician, right? Follow their advice on treatment options, and seek a 2nd opinion from a local oral surgeon who can examine you if you question the treatment of your current doctors. A full hx of injury and treatment is needed for advice to be given.
