Usually not: Vitamin c is water soluble vitamin and excess is excreted through kidneys.Usually no ill effect as seen in overdoses of fat soluble vitamins such as vitamins a, d, e.These are not easily excreted from body when overdosed.Although too much dietary vitamin c is unlikely to be harmful, megadoses of c may cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, abdominal bloating, insomnia, kidney stones, headache.
