Should you take daily vitamins other than a multi-v?

Opinion divided : Conflicting information about this. In my practice I do nutritional lab testing to see if my patients need supplementation.

Neither: Unless you are on a very strict diet, pregnant or fighting a chronic disease, multivitamins are a waste of money. If you have a lab proven vitamin deficiency, then take that one. Otherwise, save your money and buy a gym membership. Exercise has proven health benefits, while multivitamins do not.
