CANDIDIASIS ?: Side effect of Amoxil (amoxicillin) rx is oral candidiasis which is whitish discoloration of the tongue and buccal mucosa caused by fungus.

needs evaluation: It's hard to tell from a written description what to do do. I would recommend returning to the doctor for them to take a look. Usually an isolated finding on the tongue and lips is not an allergic reaction to an antibiotic.
