May not be ringworm: If antifungal medication failed to eradicate the rash then further evaluation should be performed by a dermatologist.

Just finished 14 days of Itraconazole capsules (100 mg 2x daily) for resistant ringworm. Ringworm faded but not gone. Doc RX'd 21 more days of this med at same dose. Given the possible liver damage from this drug, is it really worth taking? Concerned?
