No drug is "safe" 100% of the time. So you need to discuss with your Dr your situation and the risks and benefits to you and then you can make an informed decision. I would also look at Drugs.com for side effects reported in placebo controlled trials in folks like you. They will have published the side effects in those on vs those not on the medicine.

I've had resistant ringowrm for a long time. It clears up with oral terbinafine but comes back. Dermatologist now ordered itraconazole tabs 100mg 2x daily for 14 days. I can't recall if she told me to pulse dose? She's out for the week so i cant ask?
Is it okay to use topical micoconazole along with itraconazole capsules for ringworm? Also, capsules say take with meal. What constitutes a meal? Today, I took my pills 9 hrs apart instead of 12 to take with meal. Should I take 12hrs apart? Thanks?
