What to do to healing a high grade proximal patella tendon parcial tear without surgery?

Typically immobiliza: Tion and rest will assist in the healing of a patellar tendon tear. It is critical to not continue to perform activity that might fully rupture the tendon. I treat my patients in a knee immobilizer for 4 weeks crutches as needed, nsaids and then gentle pt out to 8 weeks from injury.
