My thyroid grew this past year to five centimeters. now, doctor performed biopsy. seventy percent chance of papillary cancer. does it grow into cancer?

I am not sure: How to answer your question as it is worded. Even if it is cancer, papillary cancer is curable with surgery alone in the vast majority of cases. Even if it has spread, it has a very high cure rate.
