Group B Strep: Your vaginal discharge is very unlikely to be due to the grp b strep. This organism is a colonizer, not a common cause of vaginal infection, and penicillin should only be used prophylactically to reduce the risk of infection in the infant at the time of delivery. Antibiotics will not eradicate this organism from the vagina. Your discharge is probably from another source. Good luck.
