Usually 30 min.: A typical MRI scan of a foot takes about 30 minutes. Depending on your symptoms and your Doctor's findings, the scan may be slightly longer.Check with your MRI center before you go to your appointment, and the staff will give you a more precise answer. You also need to allow time for filling out paperwork and such before the scan, and sometimes waiting for a disc with the images for your Doctor.
