Depends: The outcome of foot drop in difficult to predict. It depends on the cause. There can be an injury to the spine with or without disc herniation. An injury to the nerves anywhere along from the spine to the lower leg can produce similar symptoms. There can also be a neuropathy or muscle injury which causes foot drop. When you and your Doctors find the cause, then you can treat and predict recovery.
