How long are you in the mri machine for a heart scan? can they put you in feet first?

About 45 mins: Most scanners would put you in head first. The scan length varies but should be around 45 minutes. Most scanners let you wear their headphones and listen to music if you wish. At the very least they will give you ear plugs as the MRI is loud.
