We need more information and the results of a good physical examination. Was the pelvis examined? Both legs or one leg? Bilateral (both sides) leg swelling can come from poor protein intake, poor protein absorption, kidney, liver, heart problems. If it is one side, then there is a clot (leg or pelvis), lymph blockage, parasites. I have seen this from enlarged lymph nodes in the groan.
