Yellow stool: Sounds like you are on the right path. Follow up with cat of pancreas and gall bladder. Follow with GI specialist . May need to measure pancreatic duct pressure.

at least once a week really bad belly cramps and loose yellow stool, i drink a lot of beer so not sure if it's related to the alcohol or food scared

See answer: Alcohol can cause your symptoms so it may be a wakeup call. Without knowing more of your history, it is hard to tell if you may have bile acid diarrhea or irritable bowel among other causes. See a GI doctor to evaluate this further especially if it doesn't get better after cutting back/stopping alcohol.

Not pancreas cancer: These symptoms are not typical of pancreas cancer, it is rare among people 35 years old, and (if present) would be detectable by abdominal CT scan.

Yes: Drinking alot of alcohol can cause an inflammation and even a bleed in the stomach. The stomach acid turns the blood black and can darken the color of the stool as it moves along the entire digestive tract. The stool can be tested for blood the next time you see such a stool. I dont think it was the oreos.

: No, only in the urine and hair. There is not a commercially available stool test to measure those, even if it is possible at all.

Yes: Beer is a also a good stool softener. Wine is from grapes which can also cause soft stool.

Accepted Answer

: No, normal alcohol consumption will not affect a stool H Pylori antigen test. Alcohol is absorbed and digested into the body, where it is broken down by the liver and excreted in harmless form. The stool antigen test measures how much H pylori is in your stomach/intestines. It would take large quantities of high concentration alcohol to change the level of H pylori in your system.

How Dry You Were: Well, my boy, you've just turned into your own personal distillery! Really. That's what goes on in those intestines (amongst other things): fermentation of the foods ingested. You may be on to something: eat a bunch of malted barley and hops and see what comes out. Or, of course, you may have a minor upset in there that will clear if you change your diet. If it gets worse, see your doctor.
