X-Ray Exam of Chest: A chest x-ray is the basic radiographic study for evaluation of the heart and lungs. It usually consists of 2 views: postero-anterior and lateral. The image is now usually acquired digitally with the sensor placed against the front of the chest for the pa view and on the left side of the chest for the lateral view. Pneumonia, heart enlargement, CHF and many other conditions may be assessed.

Yes it can: Depending on where aorta is enlarged the chest X-ray is quite capable of showing an enlarged dilated aorta.  Usually simple movement is not an issue.  Keeping blood pressure under control and strenuous activity might be avoided

: How much blood? COughing up blood can be an emergency. I wonder if you have TB. There are other reasons for your symptoms. See a doctor

See long answer: An abdominal aortic aneurysm is a very uncommon occurrence in a 19yr. Old. Blood tests, a chest xray, and an ECG are not the examinations to detect it. If your dr. Is truly concerned, an ultrasound of the abdomen/aorta may be indicated in the correct clinical situation.

Collapse implies: One of two things. 1. Pneumothorax, where air escapes the lung, or 2. A lobe seems to "close up" from a blocked bronchus. The former can be 'watched' and the lung commonly re-expands. The latter is of concern from aspirating something like a peanut, to a benign or malignant tumor needing further definition.

You should see your physician to evaluate your lymph node enlargement. Yes: If you have long term enlarged heart, it shows on x-ray, echo shows enlarged heart too, if you had echo of heart. It will show all 4 heart chambers, valves and pumping.
