Yes: Drink enough salt water and you can mess up your bodies fluid /electrolyte balance. If you are trying to pick a disgusting  way to die continue. At some point you will develop seizures which are quite difficult to treat and may die in the process. You need to be co-managed by a therapist and a physician. Find the cause of your pattern &amp; you may be able to return to a normal life.

Yes: Gatorade is another option that is electrolyte laden and you might find it more palatable, Although I see you are already on Midodrine so you should not really be also needing to eat salt to treat your POTS. Trust you have seen an electrophysiologist (subspecialty of cardiology) who made this diagnosis.  IF not, you might want to.

  Temporary endodontic  dressings are not taste sensitive. Most likely some of the temporary sealant  came out of the tooth and you are tasting chemicals used in root canal treatment. Contact DDS who is treating tooth and replace temporary filling with a non tasting inert material.

Wisdom teeth: You may be making salt water too concentrated. one half tsp. per pint of water. can use baking soda instead at same dilution.Can rinse with warm water. No mouthwashes, have alcohol in them and will burn.
