Made a sauce but think i have added to much salt can we still eat it or will it make the family sick to eat food that is too salty?

Dietary salt: High dietary salt intake is generally associated with hypertension or elevation of the blood pressure, that can in turn affect the heart, kidneys and brain over many years if not treated. some people are sensitive to salt more that others. AS a general recommendation reduction of dietary salt intake decrease the risk of heart disease and stroke

It will not taste: very good. Not likely to cause any harm except just thirst. Try cutting up several raw white potatoes into fourths and putting them into the sauce. Do not cook, just let them sit and absorb the salt. It may take several hours of sitting in the refrigerator but should reduce the salt enough to make in more palatable. Good luck.
