Constipation: You could try one more enema about 24 hours after the first, but if that is not helpful, you need to see your doctor.You shouldn't be doing lots of self-medicating if you are not getting the results you anticipate, because you may have wrong diagnosis. Maybe your abdominal pain is not constipation at all but something else going on. You need a good history/physical.Then doc can recommend next step.

Constipation: Not sure what laxative you used. Normally, i would recommend the patient to have adequate hydration, stay active with exercising, eat high fiber diet. In addition, add fiber supplement such as citrucel (one table spoon in 8 oz of water daily). If the above is not improved, add MiraLAX (otc, one table spoon in 8 oz of water, daily to bid). Other agents are linzess, amitiza (lubiprostone). Work close with drs.
