Yes: Sounds like a cervical cavity, at a minimum stained enamel or cementum. Could even be calculus. Impossible to tell without visualization, that's why it's important you call your dentist for an appointment.

Leukoplakia: Please do not try to diagnose your own lesions. See an Oral Surgeon for an evaluation and only if necessary a biopsy will be performed. Patients without professional training and who look to the internet for answers are almost always wrong in their diagnosis and just cause themselves unnecessary grief and concern.

Keep a watch onit: White patches in the mouth can be due to more than one cause, mostly these are benign and may go away with time. One called Leucoplakia can persist for years and may require monitoring by an oral surgeon or a Dentist.
Show it to your doctor next time you see him/her. It is not likely to cause any problems over the coming few months or may be even years.

Let your Dr. know: You may be using the medication too often or for too long a period each time you rinse.

The white patches are usually from a chemical assault to the surface tissue. It should resolve in 7-10 days after discontinuing the product.

Get an exam: Don't let symptoms persist unevaluated for more than 2 weeks.  There are so many possibilities here that the only meaningful advice I can think of is to get to a dentist or dental clinic for an evaluation and development of a treatment plan.

Probably not: Can’t tell without looking but white patches on your gums and both sides of your mouth sounds more like fungus infection (thrush). Cancer at age 18 would be VERY unusual.

See your primary care doc (or dentist) for Dx and Rx.

Not likely: First, no diagnosis can be made online, if you have a history of smoking and are concerned about a lesion its best to see a doctor for an evaluation. Aside from that, a painless, flat, non changing spot on the gums that is adjacent to a metal filling may be nothing to worry about (amalgam tattoo). There are other lesions that can appear as grey spots that could be more serious if changing in size.
