: Might as well use before brushing to dislodge any debris that can then be brushed away. Use it close to the gingiva and on about #7 in the setting. Flossing is also recommended.

Many people just simply brush briefly which only cleans the outside of teeth/gum, but in between+inside are left untouched..Bacteria grow and causes your gum to be sore and bleed etc..Take care of your teeth--u got first 2 sets free, thereafter it's expensive.
