Brush, floss, rinse.: Regular brushing, flossing, and use of antibacterial rinses i.e. Listerine will likely help reduce you sore gums (gingivitis). Many people just simply brush briefly which only cleans the outside of teeth/gum, but in between+inside are left untouched..Bacteria grow and causes your gum to be sore and bleed etc..Take care of your teeth--u got first 2 sets free, thereafter it's expensive. Good luck, .

Keep it clean: Any sore on the gum will heal faster if it's clean. Until you can see your dentist or physician for diagnosis and treatment, keep the area clean with warm water rinses. If it's painful to eat and drink, try bland foods and beverages. Sores can sometimes be contagious so don't touch the sore with your finger if you want to try over-the-counter numbing agents.
