i have a wart growing in my nose. i also have the type of hpv that causes cancer.  should i be concerned about the wart causing cancer in my sinuses?

Probably unrelated: Many non-wart growths can look like warts, so you need to see a doctor to confirm the diagnosis, and to make sure it isn&#x27;t cancer itself. Probably not, but better safe than sorry. Even if you have a nasal wart, probably it is a different strain than the one you have (or had) in the genital area. Most genital HPV is cleared by the immune system; probably you don&#x27;t have it any more.

Sort of: There are multiple types of HPV, some cause cervical cancer, some cause head and neck cancer and some cause warts.

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. What you described suggest a nasal polyp. It would be prudent to see a doctor, preferably an ENT doctor.

Ask the DR!!!!!: Was it a MOHS procedure? Graft? Sutures? Dressing? Forget about magic pills or vitamins to reduce scars: they are bogus claims. Usually WATER is best for routine cleaning. Keep it lubricated with vaseline or Aquaphor. Bacitracin and neosporin are useless. Worse, they are common sensitizers which may cause allergic reactions and interfere with wound healing. See ENT doctor: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you and your symptoms warrant evaluation by a physician. Five months is long enough to wait and watch, it is time to see an ENT doctor and if needed have the lesion removed.

my dentures are ill fitting and i talked alot more than normal today. my nose is tingling on the tip , i thbk its from my dentures rubbing where my front teeth were. can this be the cause or do i automatically have head \ neck cancer?

Likely denture: If you have almost no bone in the middle of your upper jaw where the nose is, then you may have irritated the incisive papilla through which passes the nasopalatine nerve. This nerve has fibers which innervate the mucous membranes of the nose. Thus, you may have this feeling secondary to your ill-fitting denture. See the specialist -the Prosthodontist- for evaluation and new denture. Good Luck.

I found no articles: The serious medical literature contains a couple of articles about dihydroxyacetone's effects on the skin, especially making the diagnosis of pigmented cancers more tricky. In 2013, a couple of ivory-tower types suggested the stuff might be a mutagen / risk in theory, but there was never any serious scientific work. Mutagens are ubiquitous in nature. If you want a fake tan, stop worrying.

59 year old female. no history of smoking, lung cancer, lung problems. both nostrils are a little bloody when i blow my nose for the past 3 days. no cough, pain, fever or other symptoms. there weather has gotten cold a few days ago.cause for concern?

Humidifier: A humidifier may help to keep passages moist and less inflamed. If the bleeding is scant and related to blowing your nose, it is most likely that small vessels of the nose are the source. Watch for sputum, mixed with blood or cough with blood. If these occur, please see your Pulmonary specialist right away. Place a cool compress on your nasal bridge.
