AP lordotic view: The x-ray technician will take an additional view of your chest to help see the apex (top) of your lung.  This area is difficult to see on a regular chest x-ray because of the ribs and collar bone.  Sometimes a tumor in that area can cause pancoast syndrome, but it is rare.

Good question: Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain syndrome. The exact cause of the pain is not always clear. People with fibromyalgia have pain at a lower threshold than people who don't have fibromyalgia. This means they feel pain at a much less intensified stimulus. The pain appears to be related to muscle tone and conditioning, pain perception less attenuatef because of lack of sleep and exercise increase brain activity.

No: Fibromyalgia is widespread pain meaning pain on both sides of the body above and below the waist including the spine. Pain in just the ribs is not fibromyalgia.

It is part of same: It is most probabely flare up of same syndrome and has to be treated symptomatically with pain relievers and if it persists you may need to take other meds Lyrica (pregabalin) or Gabapentin with or without antidepressants.

: The origin points towards musculoskeletal (when bending) and in such cases work up should include spine as pain is many times radiated along the ribs. Lung pathology, including effusions may cause similar symptoms as well. Otherwise good to know that heart is strong and is not the reason for the symptoms.

Fibromyalgia pain: Pain is most likely from fibromyalgia. Do you feel like you got adequate information about your condition?Are there other symptoms that concern you? Depression/anxiety can also affect your experience of pain. If you are concerned, you can see a neurologist to evaluate your symptoms.

Yes: Rounded shoulders shortens the muscles in the front and pulls the ones in the back.
This can effect your upper back, sternum and ribs.
I would consider simple non painful postural stretches to start and physical therapy if simple does not help.

Fibromyalgia Pain: There is some chest wall pain with fibromyalgia.  There are 2 tender points below the 2nd rib close to the breast bone on each side.  These are not related to chest pain due to the heart, gall bladder or stomach/esophagus.
