: Most likely you are a very good node feeler.  Ask Dr to validate. Many normal ones can be felt.

Head and Neck Masses: Mri uses large magnets to create images of possible masses. Mri is a related technology that images blood vessels to look for blockages or aneurysms (ballooning).  While there are some more specialized tests to look at certain areas, in general, the answer to your question is yes.

just had normal mri/mra of neck, carotid, posterior fossa - now numbness face, then arm, now legs. should i worry about stroke?

: The lesion is more consistent with a thyroid cyst than a parathyroid adenoma due to the lack of blood flow. If the PTH level has been high for 2 years so I wonder why calcium is normal.

Bipspy: and blood testing. A frozen section biopsy specimen will be diagnostic and blood testing will be helpful.

Reactive: Reactive lymphadenopathy is commonly referred to enlarged lymph nodes secondary to a different cause- most likely infection, allergies, trauma, sometimes drugs. It is not a disease of the lymph node. The treatment is generally directed towards its cause, if found.

Reactive: Means post infection, and it can last months. These must be periodically checked to make sure they don't enlarge or get harder.

Lymph nodes in your: There are many reasons for the neck lymph nodes to get enlarged. Most often the cause is infection or inflammation of your throat. Such nodes are often tender to touch or pressure. You can watch the size of the lymph nodes. if they get any bigger, then an examination by your doctor is advised. A biopsy of the node may be done if there is any suspicion of lymph gland cancer(called a lymphoma).
