Hypoechoic structure in the right thyroid lobe fossa with minimal flow, measures 1.8 x 1.4 x 1.3 cm, body pain,very fatigued. parathyroid labs high 2 yrs ,calcium is normal. could this be a parathyroid tumor ? had partial thyroid removed 14 yrs ago?

The lesion is more consistent with a thyroid cyst than a parathyroid adenoma due to the lack of blood flow. If the PTH level has been high for 2 years so I wonder why calcium is normal.

I got my test results back from a neck ultrasound. Within the anterior upper aspect of the right lobe is a solid hypoechoic nodule without calcifications which measures 1.0 x 0.5 x 0.9 cm, TR 4. Is this something to worry about?
I have a non cancerous tumor on my left lobe of my thyroid that's causing me pain. Will the surgeon want to remove it even if the lab work comes back as a normally functioning thyroid? Or does there need to be cause other than pain for him to remove?
