Ergonomics : Ergonomics (more specifically, physical ergonomics) is the design of equipment and environments that fit the user.  When equipment, such as work areas, computer screens, keyboards, and chairs, doesn't fit, problems like neck pain can occur.

Solutions can include special "computer glasses" (and avoiding bifocals -- they are designed for lap readers and if used for upright monitors, they cause weird neck positions), changing lighting, moving monitors, adjusting chairs, and changing lighting.
