No: Spondylosis itself is a term used to describe degeneration of the spine. Though the symptoms associated with spondylosis (back pain, leg pain, sciatia, etc) can be cured or treated, the spondylosis itself cannot be cured.

Normal Aging: Spondylosis is the medical term for the normal aging process that results in degenerative changes in everyone's spine. While some of these changes may require surgery, it is impossible to halt or cure the aging process.

Definition : This term is confusing to people. It is distinctly different from spondylolisis, spondylolisthesis, and spondylitis. Treatment for the above are different. Spondylosis is defined as age related degeneration of the spine. In & of itself it is not a diagnosis. It may manifest itself thru facet joint problems, vetebral problems, such as stenosis, disc degeneration & others. These cane be treated.
