i had a bubble of infection in mouth on gums hospital gave me antibiotic and now i can suck blood and infection out is it bad to suck it out  and spit?

Visit DDS: You can spit anything out but you probably have a abcessed tooth or periodontal abcess that needs to be addressed by your dds. The antibiotic may temporarily help but the source feeding the infection is still there. Visit dds and take care of the source. Good luck.

i had 3 root canals 6 days ago (capped with temps + antibiotics). i still have puss-filled bubbles on my gums & sensitivity. is this normal? help pls!

Abscess: Apparently you've had quite a bit of dentistry on infected, broken down teeth. Can't tell how bad the infections were before treatment began, but is seems like you're still healing, which is perfectly normal. The infection has been there for a while, and it will take a while to heal. Be patient, and allow the meds and your dentist to make things right. Feel better soon....

Need more info: Please describe the lesion more – does it hurt? Did you mean "infection" as opposed to "inflation "? How far does it protrude? Is it in the gum at the gumline? You may need to ask for a consultationin order for a doc to see it.

Depends: A gum infection is a serious problem and it will depend upon how much damage has occurred to the support for your teeth.  Check with your dentist to see if they offer the perio protect method as that seems to be the best way to stop the disease and control the bone loss so you can keep your teeth.

i had a gum graft 8 days ago. is it okay to kiss at this point, as long as care is taken at the site? also, can i use regular mouthwash now? have been using salt water rinse, as well as have been on antibiotic?

: I would refrain from active kissing which involves exchange of saliva or tongue till you heal completely/ You can use a diluted mouthwash. It is always best to ask the oral surgeon for specific instructions for he/she knows your situation best.

slight wisdom tooth pain or possible gum pain, not sure. 33 year old female, pain just started this week. gum slightly over flapping wisdom tooth. will i have to get it extracted? or could it be an infection that could be treated with antibiotics?

i had a virtual visit with dr. mohammad khan today. he prescribed antibiotics for me and told me to use peridex mouthwash solution two times a day for my gum infection. my pharmacist said that he did not receive a prescription for the peridex?

Need evaluation: These findings are concerning for persistent infection  or  can on occasion suggest a connection between your bladder and your colon.  I recommend you see your pcp or a urologist for evaluation.
