Abscess: Apparently you've had quite a bit of dentistry on infected, broken down teeth. Can't tell how bad the infections were before treatment began, but is seems like you're still healing, which is perfectly normal. The infection has been there for a while, and it will take a while to heal. Be patient, and allow the meds and your dentist to make things right. Feel better soon....

Not Nomal: Puss-filled swelling on your gums is not normal! There is an infection and even if you are taking antibiotics, I would encourage you to return to the Dentist that did the work to be evaluated.

See an endodontist: Oral infections such as certain chronic abscess can often be difficult to diagnose and treat. In addition to dental school, endodontists receive 2-3 more years of advanced education in this kind of diagnosis and treatment. That’s why you should see an endodontist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
