That condition speeds up your metabolism and usually causes weight loss, fast pulse, elevated BP and temperature regulation problems. See someone.

Exercise and good eating habits are the best way to maintain proper weight and muscle mass &amp; strength   as we age. Walking, lifting weights, swimming etc. are very good options.

Not perfect!: Bmi only takes into account weight and height.  That is good enough for most people but for people that exercise a lot and have a lot of muscle it is not a good reflection of their actual fitness.  Muscle weighs more than fat so the bmi can increase even though you are in better shape.  Most pro athletes have bmis that are in the "wrong" range.  Worry about your overall health and not the number.

Proteins include egg white, chicken breast, salmon, etc. Better fats include olive oil, peanuts, almonds, tofu, etc.  Eating commonly found naturally nutritious foods should be all that is needed. Store-bought supplements or protein powders are not needed.
