He/she will not: Armour brand dessicated thyroid is no longer the first choice of real thyroidologists to treat hypothyroidism. Be weary of anyone foisting it on you. See a real thyroidologist to find out if you really need any replacement for subclinical hypothyroidism.

i have a hypo thyroid and a higher testosterone level. i'm visiting a pediatric endocrinologist, will she do a pelvic exam for my case?

See below: Testosterone in women comes primarily from the ovaries with a smaller amount from the adrenal glands. A pelvic exam may show enlarged ovaries, but an imaging study can evaluate pelvis & adrenals. Doc may check pituitary size/function as well since it is involved in endocrine function.

Endo: That is exactly what an endocrinologist does.  You don't need another specialist unless you need nuclear medicine treatment for hyperthyroidism or hot goiter.  Then the endocrinologist will work with the radiologist.

i have seen many endocrinologists and none of them know what is wrong. my thyroid levels are normal except for one level, the thyroglobulin level. instead of 40, it is always 80-100 and no one knows why. i have symptoms and i need to figure it out.

High thyroglobulin: Your elevated thyroglobulin level with otherwise normal thyroid tests, may not indicate any present thyroid disorder but may be a forerunner of thyroid dysfunction in the future. The elevated thyroglobulin most likely is due to an autoimmune process. If you haven't seen one, consult a thyroidologist at a university hospital for evaluation and advice.

i have two 3x4x3mm and one 2x4x2mm complicated hypoechoic nodules in my thyroid. should i get them checked by an endocrinologist?

Probably not: You are talking about mm, not cm right? If mm, they are still very small. I would get another ultrasound in 1 year and see a specialist if they are changing or growing. In the meantime ask your pcp to make sure the thyroid is functioning normally.

: You need a physician to determine effect on thyroid function and whether the nodules are benign or cancerous.  There is no OTC remedy, and dietary and vitamin approaches will have no influence.  An endocrinologist is the correct specialist to contact.

Endocrinologist : Thyroid disorders are managed by endocrinologists. If there is a recommendation for thyroid surgery, your endocrinologist may recommend a very experienced ENT (or endocrine surgeon) who has done lots of thyroid procedures.

Depends on condition: An internist can handle most simple thyroid issues, for example if you are hypothyroid and need replacement.  As things get more complicated, however, the internist may need to refer to endocrinologist.  If your doctor is talking about surgery, biopsy, or radioactive iodine, then an endocrinologist should be involved.
