A member asked:

I have seen many endocrinologists and none of them know what is wrong. my thyroid levels are normal except for one level, the thyroglobulin level. instead of 40, it is always 80-100 and no one knows why. i have symptoms and i need to figure it out.

High thyroglobulin: Your elevated thyroglobulin level with otherwise normal thyroid tests, may not indicate any present thyroid disorder but may be a forerunner of thyroid dysfunction in the future. The elevated thyroglobulin most likely is due to an autoimmune process. If you haven't seen one, consult a thyroidologist at a university hospital for evaluation and advice.
