See below: Testosterone in women comes primarily from the ovaries with a smaller amount from the adrenal glands. A pelvic exam may show enlarged ovaries, but an imaging study can evaluate pelvis & adrenals. Doc may check pituitary size/function as well since it is involved in endocrine function.

Pelvic: No. Ped endos don't generally do pelvic exams. Lab tests and ultrasounds will be likely.

Probably not: She mght refer you to an ob/gyn for evaluation though. Sometimes polycystic ovaries occur along with high testosterone level in women.
