i have had a sore throat for a month now and it won't go away. it is on one side and my equal librium has been off as well. it isn't allergies ?

Throat: Doesnt sound like allergies. Maybe part of a viral illness which would affect balance as well but this is one of those things you have to check out with a doctor.

i had covid last month now have sore throat on one side and it is red is this related to covid or is it my allergies?

: No way to know for certain, but after a month allergy seems more likely.

i've had a swollen lymph node on one side of my neck for months, and now i have a sore throat only on that same side. what is going on?

Need to be checked: Although this is usually nothing to worry about, it could be an infection your doctor can treat.  However, there's really no way to be 100% sure without someone performing a good exam.   Don't spend any more time wondering on this.  Please get it checked.

one tonsill swollen with no pain. no sore throat.. pcp said it looked normal but i can see where its bigger.. what can cause just one side to be bigger? 
its been like that for about a month.

Likely normal: If your PCP checked and said it looked normal, it probably is. Depending on the size difference, it may not mean anything significant. However, if one side is much larger than the other, or is enlarging further, I would have it rechecked. You could also see a specialist (ENT) to be sure.

Reflux: Sounds like reflux.  Occurs routinely on an occasional basis but if happens regularly get it checked out.

See ENT MD: Get yourself to the specialist -- ENT MD - for thorough evaluation. 9 Months is way too long to ignore this type of presentation. May simply be chronic infected tonsil -- but this would be accompanied by pain. The lack of pain and duration of the swelling and extension to the glands is of concern. Make appt. and get going . Good Luck.

strep 6 wks ago but neg test. given penicillin, didnt work. then a z pack, felt better. then days later sore throat changing sides, dizzy spells. almost 2 months now and this sore throat feels like swallowing glass on one side, then switches 2 other?

: Strep is universally killed by penicillin. Re-infections do occur, but your symptoms sound more like the effects of a backwash of stomach acid in your throat. Talk with your doc about the possibility of reflux. If you treat the wrong issue it is likely to continue.

Infection: Throat pain usually signals the invasion of these structures by a germ, usually viral but sometimes bacterial. This could be a simple passing virus that self heals, or something as bad as an abscess that may need surgical drainage. Depending on how you feel, a visit to have it evaluated my be prudent.

Different reasons: A peritonsillar abscess is a rare condition caused when a bacterial infection develops on one tonsil.
Vocal nodules on one side could cause that.
Dental causes
cancer in one side of the throat.
Polyp in sinus area on one side.

why is every time i make out i get sore throat most of the time on one side?

Sore throat: I assume "make out" means kissing? If so , i'm not sure unless you are catching an infection from your "friend". See an ENT doc for an exam to make sure there is nothing wrong with you. A throat culture of both parties could be valuable.
