Floaters pressure: Your operating surgeon should discuss this with you.  Immediately you can have elevation of intraocular pressure. Short term inflammation in the eye called uveitis.  Medium to long term, floaters, lens glare, posterior vitreous detachment, retinal tear and retinal detachment.

Most : Most surgeons are able to use a lens during cataract surgery to greatly reduce your myopia. There are more advanced lenses that also help restore reading vision in combination with distance vision, these lenses are restor, crystalens, and tecnis multi-focal.  Discuss with your surgeon the best lens for your daily living activities and visual needs.  If you need additional enhancement to your vision after cataract surgery, lasik may be indicated.  These procedures would not be performed on the same day. Typically, lasik would be considered 2-4 months after cataract surgery depending on your healing and your surgeons preference.

Tobramycine: Hi, the most common side effect of Tobra is kidney problems, hearing loss, and prolonged use could cause Clostridium Difficile infection, I'm not aware of any eye problems.

my cataract surgeon has prescribed prednisolone 1% eye drops to treat inflammation 2 months post-op. i am terrified to use these after having awful side effects from using these same drops right after surgery. please suggest a nsaid alternative drop?

: I am confused by your post. Were the "awful side effects" from the drops or could they be from some other factor. The eye doc should clarify that. It would not be wise or ethical to suggest an alternative without knowing all the facts of your case. Please work this out with the eye doc who operated.

Cataract: Depends on the severity of the cataract and how much it is affecting your vision.  If it is not affecting your vision you do not have to do anything.  It is uncommon.  You need advice from an ophthalmologist who has evaluated your eyes.

IVF ?: Cataracts while in general affect those  age 60 + years old , there are medications; prednisone, and systemic diseases; diabetes, that can cause cataracts to present earlier. Trauma can also cause cataracts. Ivf= IV fluids then no this does not itself cause cataracts.

i  fell on the right side low down of my bottom, big bruise. does a fall cause clots to form/ to have cataract surgery 2 weeks after fall?

No, and no: The fall caused the bruise.  It is a collection of blood in the muscle, not a clot that could go anywhere.  A bruise could not cause cataract surgery if that was your question, nor should it interfere with cataract surgery.  Just mention it to your surgeon.  S/he may do blood work to make sure that your blood clotting is normal.  Good luck!

im seeing a black line (like a strand of hair) in left side of peripheral  vision 24/7 . went to hospital and they said it's cataract. is that true?

Unlikely: This is almost certainly a change in the pattern of the vitreous gel in the back of your eye.  This is an aging process called vitreous syneresis.  Cataracts alter the vision by lowering the acuity and causing light glare, but they do not insert "lines" in the vision. If this worries you, see your ophthalmologist for confirmation.

my eyes are sensitive to light and air. it'll be teary or sometimes hot when exposed to both, wanttoclosemy eyes. my father side have cataract history.?

Not likely cataract: Cataracts usually only cause reduced vision without tearing/burning. The symptoms you have suggest possible allergies
i would suggest seeing your doc for an evaulation...

just started dulera. was on symbicort (budesonide and formoterol). is side-effect profile similar? any more likely to have sinus symptoms on dulera? how about cataracts?

Very close: I don't think the side effect profile is any different between the two  but the actual side effects will be depended on the total dose of steroid included.
There is a minor risk for cataracts with any inhaled steroid but this is a minor issue when compared to uncontrolled asthma. As for response, some people do prefer one over another- a toss-up.
