What to do if i am fourteen and i've inherited congenital cataracts from my dad's side of the family. is this rare?

Cataract: Depends on the severity of the cataract and how much it is affecting your vision. If it is not affecting your vision you do not have to do anything. It is uncommon. You need advice from an ophthalmologist who has evaluated your eyes.

Congenital Cataracts: Congenital Cataract can be hereditary & associated with other medical issues. This is not uncommon. An eyeMD can help you determine underlying cause. Genetic testing is available for certain conditions. More info: eyedoc2020@blogspot.com
