A member asked:

My cataract surgeon has prescribed prednisolone 1% eye drops to treat inflammation 2 months post-op. i am terrified to use these after having awful side effects from using these same drops right after surgery. please suggest a nsaid alternative drop?

I am confused by your post. Were the "awful side effects" from the drops or could they be from some other factor. The eye doc should clarify that. It would not be wise or ethical to suggest an alternative without knowing all the facts of your case. Please work this out with the eye doc who operated.
