Jury is out: The jury is out on marijuana and head and neck cancers.  There is conflicting data on this and and very few studies.  No association has been found between marijuana smoking and lung cancer.  Again, though, not many studies have been completed.  There are carcinogens in marijuana so be wary.  There just isn’t enough data at this point to feel confident yet in these relationships

i recently had a pulmonary effusion but im experiencing the same symptoms as before the drain was done. shortness of breath & it feels as if the lung is compressed pain in my back at the lung area & in my right shoulder ?

Effusion: Always a  recurrence possible. If you had a drainage tube in you could be developing a collapsed lung or pneumothorax, bleeding or a pneumonia. I would let the provider who put your tube in know about your symptoms.

i have been diagnosed with emphysema one month ago. ( my urticaria and asthma actually caused emphysema according to the doctor) and emphysema patient has higher risk of getting lung cancer. should i do cancer test every year?

: I can see the urticaria and asthma as symptoms of the same underlying "allergic" genetic pattern. I wouldn't describe them as causing the other, just being part of the same collection of disorders. I don't see any evidence that they cause cancer. I would wonder if you had a gene defect leading to alpha-1-antitrypsin deficiency if you have emphysema at your age.

have copd, worked out 5 days a week extremely. it kept my lungs healthy but made my ra worse. dr. said i had to quit. now lungs r bad again. ?

See below: Looking over what details you have provided, you are not listing any medications that are disease modifying agents to treat RA which is a concern.  Also if you do have ra, do have RA lung involvement in addition to the copd?  You need to meet to with your rheumatologist, but also consider seeing a pulmonologist.

what is b-cell lymphoma of the lungs?

Disease in the lungs: Although lymphoma is usually found in the lymph nodes, both low grade and high grade lymphoma can be found in other organs including the lungs. High grade lymphoma is more likely to be found in the lung tissue itself while low grade is usually in lymph nodes throughout the lungs - unless the low grade lymphoma is quite advanced.

What's the cause: It all depends on the cause of the collapse. The chances of it happening again depend on whether whatever caused your lung to collapse is likely to happen again. I know you didn't want to hear this but you definitely need to see your doc for this. It all depends on your medical history and what caused it.

To a degree: An ap (front to back) and lateral (self explanatory) chest xray displays a fairly good screening view of the lung,  ribs, scapula, diaphragm, parts of the spine and shoulder joints, but the resolution of lung tissue increases with ct scanning with contrast and mri.  The chest xray however gives enough detail to determine most conditions though perhaps not in the earliest stages.

Likely: Bronchoscopy, a look through the tubes that deliver air to the lungs, or thoracoscopy, a scope passed into the chest on the affected side to inspect the lung, its lining, sample cells, even do biopsy.

See doctor: You need to discuss this with your doctor since there are many types of densities which signify different things.  Why was the CT obtained in the first place?
