Had two lung collapses five years apart, it's been 10 years what are the chances i may have another one? any advice besides "go see a dr".

What's the cause: It all depends on the cause of the collapse. The chances of it happening again depend on whether whatever caused your lung to collapse is likely to happen again. I know you didn't want to hear this but you definitely need to see your doc for this. It all depends on your medical history and what caused it.

Depends: Published 5yr first recurrence rates for primary spontaneous pneumothorax are around 20-30+%. For secondary spontaneous pneumothorax, around 40+%. As noted, really depends on cause of your first collapsed lung (pneumothorax). If this was spontaneous (non-traumatic), you should have consultation thoracic surgeon. May benefit from further investigation and possibly vats.
