i had implants put in jan 12 and had to have them removed yesterday    my drains have been pretty painful and now my neck upper arms and stomach muscles are painful/sore. is this something i should be worried about   has happened since day has wenton?

Pain is a warning!: It is not normal to experience pain, and these day even complicated surgeries can have surprising unpainful recoveries.  There is inflammation, and likely some muscle damage, so please go back and get checked.

Yes: These are complicated surgeries and must be individualized, see a board certified plastic surgeon.

Depends: If you are heavy, there is no targeted way to loose moob fat other than surgical liposuction. If your body fat is average, then liposuction &amp; removal of any glandular tissue is the answer. I would only start the process if your doc has excluded medical or medication causes. Some cosmetic surgeons are able to use such implants, but I would investigate the issue in detail before proceeding.

can vns therapy cause stiff neck muscles? i had the implant done in june, and a few weeks ago started noticing tightness in my neck and jaw.

NOT DIRECTLY: Usually there is satisfactory post-op healing within 2-3 weeks allowing initial programming. The tightness in neck and jaw at this point would be very unlikely to have any relation to the vns unit, and more likely due to other causes such as cervical strain or TMJ dysfnctn.

Gyn : Your gynecologist should be able to remove the implant with local anesthesia. Plastic surgeons are always a good choice if there are aesthetic concerns.

Depending : Depending on the size of the buttock implant, removal may cause there to be loss of skin tightness.

Call your surgeon: Call your surgeon's office or refer to the post operative instruction sheet.  There are a lot of variables about how the surgery was done that matter about the post-operative course of therapy.  If you aren't sure, don't hesitate to ask.  Proper postoperative  care is essential to a good surgical outcome.

You can do either: If you want to remove your implants you can do that alone however there is a good likelihood that you  may not be happy with the drooping in the long term. Depending on your exam, the size of the implants,  and your desires, the degree of drooping may or may not be acceptable.
The lift can be done at the same time or later.
Consult a board certified plastic surgeon to find out what is best for you.

can the implanon implant be easily removed?

Yes It Can: Implanon/nexplanon is a single progestin-containing rod, which provides highly effective reversible contraception for up to three years, when inserted subdermally in the non-dominant arm.  Implanon/nexplanon rods should only be inserted/removed by a certified trained clinician.  If the rod has been inserted properly, it should be easy to remove, and usually takes only two-four minutes after prep.

how quick can you fall pregnant after having the implant removed?

Accepted Answer

Depends: on the individual.  Pregnancy only requires the resumption of ovulation and fertilization by a single sperm.  If you resume ovulation quickly then without alternate contraception you could find yourself pregnant very quickly.  There is no guarantee that this will occur but it is certainly possible.
