Stress fx of met: A previous bunion surgery can sometimes unload the big toe and overload the other toes leading to a stress reaction or fracture in the metatarsal bone. Other possibilities include arthritic change, nonhealing of bunion surgery, neuroma.

: The good news it’s not painful. It could be slowing do too your activity in the shoes you were wearing. With proper icing and anti-inflammatory medication it should resolve without any problem. If it continues it’s very possible that a ganglionic cyst  developing . This is not a problem to worry about it can be taken care of very nicely and easily. If it continues to concern you go back to surgeon

Hard lump on bunion: sounds like enlarged bone with soft tissue swelling on top of the big toe joint area and it is irritated by shoes, especially shoes that crowd the toe box area like heels. So avoid heels, wear sensible shoes and if pain continues, see a podiatrist.

DJD: If your doctor did not do any lab work and told you that you have arthritis he or she probably means osteoarthritis, also known as degenerative joint disease or "wear and tear" arthritis.  This commonly occurs in conjunction with bunions and in the midfoot.

Could be either: A painful, swollen big toe joint that occurs from time to time is likely to be gout or other type of arthritis. A permanent bump that is more painful after wearing shoes all day is more likely to be a bunion.  By your description, bunion is more likely. See an orthopedic foot doctor or podiatrist for an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.

good morning, i need a second option please , i have been having burning feet and swelling, i went to my orthopedic surgeon due to painful bunions i want to remove, i was send to a mr test results came as normal, can my neurologist send me for a bone?

It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!
