smooth, symmetrical, firm oval lump in cheek tissue? about an inch in diameter and movable. could this be a lipoma? can you get lipomas in the cheek?

: A lipoma in the cheek is rare and contains fat cells .Usually they are found on head, neck and shoulder. If removed they rarely grow back. They are non cancerous.

i have a soft lump between c7 and t1. it's more disc shaped than round. i can only feel it when i tilt my head up with chin up. it moves if i apply pressure while tilting back. i had neck pain a few weeks ago but is mostly resolved. what can it be?

i have small nickle size lumps, sphere shaped under the skin going inward ubder right arm pit, they do come to a head 4-10 days what are they caused from.? a doctor one time gave me mincycline that gave me hives badly..they have also come under left arm p

I : I can't diagnose your condition. It sounds somewhat like hydraandenitis suprativa. You can ask your dermatologist to examine your lesions to get the right diagnosis. That in turn can lead to appropriate treatment recommendations.

stiff neck/left, few mos w/intermittent headaches in front/on top of head. feel oddly shaped hard immovable lump in back of neck below hairline, even with bottom of ear, just left of spine,  i dont think its a lymph node from location. causes?

Simple vs serious: Our bodies always have things that grow and change. Skin, fat, muscle, lymph nodes,  bones, can change shape, get larger, more prominent due to many factors. The vast majority are not cancer but simply unusual growths like fatty tumors, cysts, skin tags, moles, etc.  Most cause no symptoms and can be watched.  If they cause symptoms or change colors, bleed, bruise or hurt, then see your doctor.

Most likely.: It is most likely a small hematoma. This is a bruise with a pocket of accumulated blood  in the muscle under the skin. It will go away.

i have a lump in my left cheek about two weeks after i slipped on the ice and hit my cheek. its not painful, but certainly noticeable, like a knot under my skin. should i be concerned and what should i do about it?

: These are usually the residual of blood that collected around injured tissue and solidified within the tissue layers. Sometime they contain collagen and calcium. They can take many months to gradually be recycled by the tissues and shrink  Discuss the lump with your doc if you go in for another reason. I cannot come up with a worrisome reason it needs quicker attention.
