I have a soft lump between c7 and t1. it's more disc shaped than round. i can only feel it when i tilt my head up with chin up. it moves if i apply pressure while tilting back. i had neck pain a few weeks ago but is mostly resolved. what can it be?

Cyst: It is probably a cyst or lipoma and is of no consequence and should cause you no harm

Soft lump bet c7&T1: It appears you have slipped disc. go to your family doc ,he may do MRI or ct scan to confirm this experience. HE may refer to a specialist after getting radiologist report During the mean time use soft collar if prescribed by your family doctor.
