Theoretical concern: Pediasure sounds fine if this is what your doc has recommended.   Organic refers to probable lack of environmental toxins in products grown without pesticides, etc.     This is certainly a theoretical concern rather than a real concern for a FTT child.   I would however want to know more about the details of the child's FTT diagnosis?

Breakfast : Breakfast really is the most important meal of day.  As a busy student it will give high energy to last through a busy morning through lunch, it will help you lose weight or maintain healthy weight, it will help you think clearer and do better on your morning exams.  Make sure to combine carb with fiber and protein with some fruit, this an ideally balanced meal.

Healthy fat/protein: Starting your day with cereal, milk, and juice does you no good. The healthy way to eat is to have a breakfast with healthy fats and protein. With those a small amount of complex carbs with a low glycemic index is ok. Eggs are almost the perfect food so a couple of eggs with vegetables and some avocado, cheese, or coconut oil will give you even energy through the day.

Balanced diet : Eggs, with fruits/ orange juice MJ and cheese are a good starting meal, followed by a grilled chicken sandwich w baked chips and fruit for lunch and beef, chicken entree for dinner with small dissertation and a veggie side of fruit for dinner. For a late snack avoid starches, ice cream or other sugary drink. Consider dry fruits, nuts w a glass of milk or CIO of yogurt. Feel good

It depends: What is the specific "nourishment drink" you're considering?  You need to have protein, healthy fat, fiber, and some fruits or veggies in it, with low sugar content too.  It is possible to make some good shakes or smoothies with such contents at home, but the ingredients are important.

Depends: Steel cut oats are very healthy for breakfast as our other whole grains like the ancient grains, spelt, millet, and amaranth. Instant oats depends on what is added in package such as sugar, which is not healthy. Avoid the instant oats if sugar, preservatives, or other chemicals added. Consider arrowhead mills organic cereals instead.

i'm curious as to whether pediasure and carnations breakfast essentials is healthy for my 2 year old? he eats but in 6 months he has gained no weight

Not gaining weight: Pediasure is better for a 2 years old as it is a meal in itself as it contains the right balance of carbs, proteins and fats for a growing child.  If he is a picky eater the try to give him a glass of Pediasure with meals 3 times a day.  If his eating is not a problem then his doctor will do more of a work up if he continues not to gain weight.  I hope this helps.

Well. yes.: Rice is a problem for constipation which is incredibly common in Asia for this reason. Enough water, vegetables and multiple sources of fiber would be good. Narcotics, rice, chronic use of cathartics would be bad.

is 137 high for glucose reading after having 2 cups of coffee with sugar and a instant breakfast drink ? should i be concerned ? or see my dr?

OK: Bs less than 140 after a meal is normal.  You are probably ok.  The better test for diabetes involves actual blood testing.  It's easily done and can be ordered by any physicians.  If you are worried, ask your doctor to get tested.
