: Define your limit and stick to it. Your system has a set limit on the amount of this toxic material you can ingest before it begins to damage the structures you mention and your brain (which you didn't) . A drink an hour or a total of a couple an outing may be tolerated easily. More may or may not. Drink to excess on a regular basis and the toxic effects accumulate.

Lots of reasons...: First off, you didn't mention if heart or lung testing was accomplished, and if so what were the results.  These organ systems must be addressed.  Assuming these too were "normal", then functional issues must be considered like: esophageal spasm, esophageal dysmotility, anxiety/stressors. Hope this points you in a new, right direction.

could a hida scan and ct scan miss something wrong with the gallbladder? upper right quadrant pain. normal lab values for liver kidneys and pancreas?

Unlikely: While no test is perfect; a normal HIDA essentially shows that the gallbladder is functioning well.  There are " quantitative" HIDA scans that are more sensitive than a regular scan.
It is more likely that your pain is not from the gallbladder ( often difficult to exactly pin down, but you are unlikely to get improvement having the gallbladder removed.

can ab ct show stomach, pancreas, kidney, and liver cancers?  had normal ct of ab with contrast but worried about cancer as i have neck lymph nodes, esr of 65, high crp, high ldh, and reflux

Sure, but...: A CT scan shows a tumor if the tumor is big enough to be visualized on the image. All types of scans have some sort of "minimum size" for a tumor in order for it to be visible. Tumors start out as invisible, just a cell for clump of cells. A tumor also shows up more easily if it has a different "color" or "texture" in the image, compared to neighboring objects.

help: is it called pancreatitis if i have no pain but elevated liver and pancreas enzymes? (above 3x normal limit) or do you need pain to have pancreatitis?

: Painless pancreatitis usually occurs in the chronic variety, but people with diabetes or kidney disease have been known to have acute pancreatitis without pain. I have never seen a case of acute pancreatitis without abdominal pain &amp; tenderness. This is truly an inflammatory process.

Easy and safe: Ultrasound is very safe and easy, and it can tell you if there is something wrong with your kidney (stone, dilated collecting system, etc).  It can also look at the liver, if needed, at the same time.  It is an excellent first step to visualize a problem.  If you get an answer, you're done, and you don't have to go through a ct, mri, etc.

there was a slightly hyperechoic focus in the lower pole of left kidney, may represent normal cortical lobulation, however underlying lesion can not be ruled out. all else normal, mildly elevated liver enzymes , am i freaking out for no reason?
