Recently I have had a Cholecystectomy. Doctor said I have symptoms of pancreatitis as I feel burning pain in my back behind the upper abdomen & adviced me to take Enzymes orally. I have been taking it for 4 months, still facing same& bad gases also?
Ive had pancreatic enzymes checked a few times over the years. Lipase has never been elevated but amylase fluctuates. Ive had it as high as 300. Ive also had it just above the range and normal as well. Never pancreatitis. Could be cancer ???
