You could discuss the issue with your rheumatologist to see if the dose you are on would affect overall healing. It may also be worthwhile to make sure your vasculitis condition won't affect healing as well.

There are new "black box warnings" as well which warn of possible cardiovascular complications. So, if you feel the antiinflammatory is not working be careful before you may indiscriminately start increasing the dose.
