Nasal tip asymmetry: There is almost certainly something which can be done to address the issue.  Talk your local experienced rhinoplasty surgeon.  Depending on the exact problem you may be a candidate for an office injectable treatment.  Sometimes a revision surgery is needed.  The options also change depending on how long ago the surgery was performed. Good luck.

why is it that every time you see a rhinoplasty job the nose still looks big, even after a yr or so. it is impossible to make a nose small?

Not true: Rhinoplasty is often done to reduce the size of the nose and it is surgically possible to do so.

1 month after tertiary revision rhinoplasty my nose looks grotesque and freakish with bridge side wall  dent can i get a filler soon. looks scarey . it will be  difficult to live like this a year .

Ask your doctor: 1 month after rhinoplasty is still early in the healing process, but if you have concerns about the appearance of your nose, it is best to ask your surgeon what they think is going on.  If you are not satisfied with their answer, find a board certified plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon in your area to get a second opinion in person.

16-17 yo for males: If possible males should wait till 16-17.  Women can generally have a rhinoplasty at 15-16.  His is the age where the nose has stopped growing.

i had a nose job 2 weeks ago and it looks deformed and fake and i naturally had a small nose. how do i fix it now?

Consult your surgeon: If you had a small nose initially, what was the reason for the "nose job"?  Healing from rhinoplasty can take many months. It is typically recommended to wait one year before revising a rhinoplasty. You should however discuss your concern with your surgeon.

what particular type of nose job is required for correcting excessively wide nostrils? i am a 35-year-old female and my physical appearance is quite important for my career progress. i would like to have a nose job to correct wide nostrils. i am otherwise

Accepted Answer

Wide : Wide nostrils can be improved using techniques to remove tissue from the alar bases. A wedge excision is one common way to do this. Some patients also benefit from the removal of some tissue from the floor of the nostril area as well.

It is possible (though not required) to have this type of limited surgery done in the office with an injection of numbing medicine.

Sometimes other nasal tip modifications (improve the projection for example) are also indicated to help create a narrower looking nose.

Rhinoplasty: Rhinoplasty is designed to produce a nose which is appropriate for your face.  Discuss with your facial plastic or plastic surgeon for more details.

No: A long-standing structural deformity can only be fixed by corrective surgery.

how long after a rhinoplasty until your nose feels completely normal again?

Accepted Answer

A few months: I usually recommend to my patients to go at least 4-6 weeks after a rhinoplasty before any vigourous exercise or strenuous activity.   After that, most patients report that they fully feel mostly like themselves in about 2-3 months, but it may take 6 months to a year for the nose to feel "completely normal".
