Caution: Check with prescribing doctor. Do not know details of your history, other meds you may take, reasons for insomnia so unable to advise. Combining Lunesta (eszopiclone) and Xanax increases side effects eg, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, sedation. Avoid alcohol while on these meds. I hope this helps. Best wishes.

The effect last for 6 hours. Taking 2nd dose after 4 ½ hours indicates need for Therapy to understand stresses in your life, their effect on your relationships and work; to develop coping skills.
Using Lunesta (eszopiclone) with Xanax may increase dizziness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating.

i have been taking bupropion dr, wellbutrin xl, xanax, adderall & lunesta for over 6 years and they just aren't working anymore. my doctor insists i stay on them but won't change any doses. he's 87 yrs. old. hasn't it been too long?

Medication issues:  Don't know what your diagnoses are. Bupropion is Wellbutrin. I can't comment on your medications. However, since you are making it a point the share your doctor's age- that suggests that you consider his advanced age to be a factor in how he is approaching your psychotropic medication management. If you are not happy with how your meds are prescribed, consider getting a second opinion.

Probably nothing: There is no contraindication for the use of xanax (alprazolam) (a benzodiazapine anti-anxiety agent along with Mirtazapine an antidepressant! OBVIOUSLY this must be ordered by an experienced mental health Professional!

Depends on dose: Xanax (alprazolam) and nyquil are sedating. Some folks are more sensitive than others. Dosing is also important. Mixing sedating medications can be difficult because they can have more than additive effects. Be careful.
