Caution: Check with prescribing doctor. Do not know details of your history, other meds you may take, reasons for insomnia so unable to advise. Combining Lunesta (eszopiclone) and Xanax increases side effects eg, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, sedation. Avoid alcohol while on these meds. I hope this helps. Best wishes.
